A-PDF Content Splitter Released

People always asks us to make a customization for splitting their PDF files by content, e.g. Invoice Number, Employees Number etc. I recognized that many PDF files which is generated by some "System" contains all information, and needs to split to individual files according to some text. So, when a customer asked us to do the same thing again months ago, we thought it is good time to create a general tool to let users can define and split the file by themselves.

Now, we are proud to announce that the A-PDF Content Splitter has released. Splitting is not difficult, because we have A-PDF Split. The key is how to define the split text and position, Split Rule we called. We made a visual rule editor to make it easy. Clicking "how to…" is simple guide. Click "help" you will get a detail step by step guide. You can download the example PDF file to learn and test the program. If you have problem to create a rule, you can even send an example PDF file to us, we are happy to look at it and create a rule for you.

A-PDF Split 2.2.1 is now available. The release improves the performance greatly when splitting big PDF files. “PDF with 10.000 pages before this release was splitted in 3 days (no joke) and now it is 25 minutes.”, said by one of our customers. Another little change is that you can get the output file name list when finished.

A-PDF Merger 3.0.0 Version Released

We proudly announce A-PDF Merger 3.0.0 version released. Now we have changed the main download link to the new version.

The changes from 2.x please refer to the previous post.

The different to beta version is adding a new option for bookmark merging. Now you can set “use file name as root bookmark”. When you check the setting, you will get bookmarks of the output PDF file like that:

If the option is not checked, the bookmarks look like that:

And more bugs have been fixed from 3.0.0 beta.

A-PDF Split 2.2.0 Released

We just released A-PDF Split 2.2.0.

The new version add a option to set output sequence.

For example, you have set sequence with start 2 and interval 2, and using the output file pattern: {part:00000}, you will get a series of files named 00002.pdf, 00004.pdf, 00006.pdf … etc.

Upgrade from old version is free.
