About Batch Add Security Silently?
Question
I used the batch process to set security on a group of files (with a opening password required, and at Acrobat 5.0 level). I forgot to first run a batch sequence to set the page opening to single. Now when I come to try to set the opening batch, it does not work because the security is set requiring a password. I cannot - hopefully because I am doing something wrong - reset the security back to 'no' in batch process. Any suggestions, please. Because to open each file in turn and change the security to none, is a big time consuming exercise.
